Hi everyone!
Here is a quick look at the work I did for our school game project, SENSE Beyond Sight. I had to produce a bunch of assets while following the semi-realistic guidelines of our project, and I managed to deliver everything on time!
I handled the full pipeline for our main dog companion, "Sense", from the ZBrush sculpt to the engine. My biggest headache was definitely the real-time fur especially creating and tweaking the greyscale texture maps in Substance Painter so they would perfectly control the fur addon inside Godot, and blend nicely with the custom shader made by our Lead Artist. I also sculpted the monster's hands with quite a bit of creative freedom, keeping a pretty dense topology since they are heavily animated.
Aside from that, I modeled and textured various interior furniture. I even tried cloth simulation for the first time on the bed before doing a clean retopo pass. To make sure everything matched perfectly with the team's visual identity, I used and tweaked the smart materials provided by the Lead Artist, which really helped me speed up my texturing workflow on the wooden assets. Finally, I jumped into Godot to import my work and set up clean prefabs to make things way easier for our level designers.
Hope you like it! Let me know what you think!
